I think Occam's Razor offers the more likely answer here. He excitedly jumped in when the opportunity first presented itself and didn't really consider the finishing time quite so much. Given what we have seen of his character he may not have given a second's consideration that it would be too fast, he mainly did not want to get caught.
If he had gone under 3 hrs a few more eyebrows may have been raised as faster runners would have pounded on him. But he stayed off the podium and out of the AG awards with a BQ that would hold up. Some devious planning was involved, just don't think it was quite so scientific.
Lol, isn't that the law of parsimony? You are right, what am I thinking?! This is obviously not a thinking man we're talking about. He just jumped in and had no idea that people like us existed and would eventually expose him.

Hello moderators,
if you decide to delete my precise answers to specific questions, then at least delete the questions too.
Hello fellow writers,

I can't believe that wasn't meant to be a parody.
When I see something embarrassing for a person, in a movie, on TV, etc., I actually can't watch, it's just too awful. My wife makes fun of me because I will actually cover my face. I just can't stand stuff like that.
I kept having to look away from this video. It was just so humiliating. I know he's a terrible person and an unrepentant a-sshole, but this video made me feel sorry for him. He's such a sad little man. That was it, Boston was his crowning achievement in life, it's how he identifies himself, ugh, he constantly wears the gear. That he had to cheat to get there and he made that video, just a total invention of himself, completely dissociated from reality... and the way he runs...ugh, god damn, it's just so awful.
Ok, I'm sorry, I know he's a really bad guy, but I'm out. Making fun of him now seems no different then making fun of that guy who lives in his dad's warehouse. He's probably no less mentally handicapped than that guy, in his own way. That video did me in, I can only see him now as a pathetic pitiable wretch of a human being. Ugh.

The start time was not off. The race starts oddly enough at 7:10. I can see where someone simple minded could either forget or not be able to calculate the 10 minute offset.
This.
Thanks for the enlightenment.
Aren't you embarrassed to be perceived as Mike?

What is it like to be universally known as a dickhead cheater from Philly?
Do you have any regrets?
$3.11 for your thoughts.
It feels great to know you are embarrassing yourself thinking I am Mike!
LOL!

How is he embarrassing himself? In order for him to feel embarrassment, you would have to prove that you are NOT Rossi. As far I have read, you have not done that. Most, if not all people here, think you are Rossi, and if not, certainly as annoying and share many of his same lying characteristics.
And that is way he didn't celebrate at the finish line because he knew right there he screw up big time.
Interesting. I agree. Mike didn't celebrate because he knew he cheated too much. But if he finished in a 3:23, would we have seen a fist pump? Maybe a finish line selfie? Maybe two videographers in Boston?
Has anyone ever checked to see if he cheated in Boston? I don't know how many photo spots there were so I wouldn't know if he missed any. But the timing mats seems to be at exactly 5K intervals, so they would be easy to figure out where they are.
The thing that makes me suspect this is his video. We're all wondering why he hired a videographer and how they got on the course during the race. We just assume he's a big enough douche to hire somebody to film him and get a press pass.
But what if it was simply another runner? And the point of the video was to film him at various points during the race as proof that he was on the course the whole time, but in reality his "video guy" was also his driver to and from various points on the course.
He clearly drove to various points in the race to film him. It wouldn't be any harder to sneak off this course with so many more runners than it would be to sneak away from LVM.
Maybe somebody with knowledge of running Boston could check their photos and see how many spots thy were captured at, and then see how many Mike shows up in.

Great, now can you answer my actual question?

Trolls who pretend to be Rossi don't occasionally say they are not Rossi. They insist they are Rossi despite evidence to the contrary.
Therefore, your occasional claim that you are not Rossi within a larger Rossi persona just shows that you are in fact Rossi.
If he cheated, he hit every mat this time:
http://registration.baa.org/2015/cf/Public/iframe_ResultsSearch.cfm?mode=results
I remember the photographers at the start, 15k mark (definitely a timing mat there) but not really paying attention to their location after that. It is possible to maybe drive a short distance but you'd really have to plan that carefully. The crowds and traffic would make it unlikely imo. It really doesn't matter much, because if he had been properly DQed at Via then Boston would not have happened. Not anything known AFAIK about his video guy, maybe one of the employees or another service. It is painful to watch knowing the backstory. His time indicates more of what I would have expected give his real marathon time at Philly and I remain skeptical he had the injury he claimed since, after all, he is Rossi. You can check his photos yourself at:https://www.marathonfoto.com/Proofs?PIN=7Y0P34&LastName=ROSSI

There's no reason to think he cheated at Boston. He only cared about his time at LVM because he wanted a BQ. He had no motivation to cheat at Boston.

Tell me how I prove that I am NOT something.
Seriously tell me, cause you just embarrassed yourself too.
LOL!
That is easy. While I understand it is hard to prove negative, you could tell us who you are!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are not Rossi, provide your name or some sort of verifiable information that you are who you claim you are. You don't have to prove who you are not, just tell us who you are. Pretty simple.
The only embarrassment here is you.

He won't answer your question. He basically says the same lame stuff over and over again. Nothing original, avoids answering questions with substance. Today's word choice - embarrassing, which ironically is very fitting for him.
Those pics are pure gold. Notice all the blue bibs surrounding him? The wave after him that he couldn't out-waddle.
