Please, post to the RD at the bottom of the page.
Thanks Brojos!
But remember Mike, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Re your comment "If he was a professional, or had some other job where integrity mattered, it would be all bad for him". Mike may not be a "professional" in your opinion but he is very professional in what he does and also very successful. Sorry that sticks in your craw but it may be time for you to get out of the basement and move on. And please save us all the POS stuff, etc, etc, if that's the best you can come up with then, Mike wins, again.
You know he's a wedding DJ right? A guy could be a very "successful" pizza delivery boy and deliver his pizza with professionalism, but, he's still a pizza delivery boy and not a professional. A wedding DJ is a slightly more embarrassing job than pizza delivery boy as at least the pizza delivery boy lacks the ugly profiteerism of the "wedding industry". Mike's a loser. That's a positive thing in this situation. A 47 year old wedding DJ working for tips at his age is pathetic - and explains why he felt he needed to cheat and pretend he could accomplish something in his life that wasn't demeaning.
I've followed this thread from the beginning. I think Mike cheated and I don't think he's a nice person. If he's the one who posted the nasty things about Ken's son, he's despicable.
However, I really don't see any reason to demean the man's profession. Anyone who works hard and supports themselves is worthy of respect, at least in that area of their life. Not everyone has the ability, desire, or good fortune to be a doctor or engineer or whatever other profession you deem respectable.
Attacking the man along these lines gives ammunition to Rossi supporters that this is nothing by a hit squad.
..... I think you're going to get a +1 as soon as+1 reads you
Agreed. Take Mike's layer for instance....

Mike's "embarrassing job" as you so put it enables him to live in a pretty nice neighborhood in Rydal Pa working only 2 days a week at his " demeaning" talent . Just remember even people with " professional" occupations depend on a trash man to pick up their cans every week or their upscale neighborhood will turn into a landfill in a month .
And the "Mike Rossi Marathon Cheater" video is up to about 1,700 views this morning.
I wonder when that views count will pass this thread's post count?
And I wonder how hard Rossi has tried to get it removed?

Oh FFS, not this stupid canard again.
The singular act of Mike Rossi cheating at LVM (which he most certainly did do - he cheated like a cheating cheater who cheats) did not deny any other runner a Boston bib.
Learn the facts before you post.
Can someone explain this point? It has been repeated endlessly but nobody has explained how BQs work in this respect.
Suppose I am a race organiser and I say that every Man in a given age category (let's say M45) who runs a qualifying marathon under 3:20 gets in, would I limit the numbers if there were too many qualifiers or would I shrug and adjust the qualifying time for next year?
How does Boston do it?

Boston sets the cutoff at BQ-x depending on demand for each year. The value of "x" varies year after year. So for an M45 it would be 3:20-x and for M18-39 would be 3:05-x.
Since x has a resolution of one second the number of entrants will increase or decrease by hundreds every time the value of x is changed by a single second. So no single qualifier changes the cutoff unless they are the last ones to push the limit over this magical threshold that the BAA set. So even if Rossi's qualification was removed the value of "x" very well could have stayed the same which is the most likely scenario meaning nobody was left out because of Rossi's act.
However if you have a large number of cheaters their cumulative effect can be significant enough to change the value of "x" therefore denying hundreds of qualified runners from the race. Obviously, this is not something that can be accurately determined without looking at everyone at Boston and checking their past performances, an exercise most of us, including the BAA, are unwilling to do. The cost/benefit is simply not there.

Have you spoken to the LVM RD and USATF lately, I think you'll find they disagree.
Again, if you determine success and the need for new evidence based on a DQ then yes, you are correct, there is a need for "new conclusive evidence".
That is not how I look at it. To me and everyone else beside the LVM RD it is obvious and irrefutable that Rossi cheated. It burns some that he didn't get DQd but that only reflects on the incompetence of LVM RD not on the fact that Mike Rossi cheated. Mike Rossi is done with running. If this is how I had to end my running career I would hardly consider it a success.

But this is where I think you make a mistake. Mike Rossi looks and sounds like a guy who did Boston as a bucket list item and not because he loves running like most of us. He is on to the next item - maybe he will climb a mountain.
Mike Rossi googles "helicopter rides to top of Everest.
Mike actually tweeted yesterday (before the article was released) that it was going to be his first day running again since his injury. He then used a few hashtags like #nervous, #excited, and #NoSleepTilBoston

I mostly agree. If you make a living delivering pizzas, more power to you, no shame in that.
But Mike or a colleague keeps posting on here about Mike's great success in his "profession". First of all, a wedding DJ is a job, not a "profession". And I had no idea until this thread that there were grown men* making a living being a wedding DJ or video maker.
Again, if you're making a legal living, great for you. And if you like your job, even better. But don't expect me to be impressed by your great success at something as trivial as a wedding DJ.
* "grown men" who catfight like middle school girls.
Thanks for the explanation, all anyone can say is that Rossi helped the collective cheating adjustment.

Do you people here realize what you're doing? What you're creating with every stroke of your keyboard? This is a mob. People who make up mobs often think they have total freedom to behave how they want--they lose their ethics. The things being said here about Rossi go way beyond the unsubstantiated theory that he sinfully cut a course during a small-time marathon somewhere. Each of you here participating in this despicable hit thread have lost your individuality and your souls. You've become a dumb-minded, unAmerican finger-pointing mob cloaked in anonymity (like the KKK cowards with their hoods) trying to destroy someone---pick him apart---make fun of his living and call him names.
Take a look at yourself in the mirror. Who you'll see is a person who is no longer cool, no longer has his individuality, and is no better than a member of a lynch-mob stringing someone up on little evidence and a lot of belief.
Let it go. Let him be. Go do something constructive that contributes something of value to the world.
