Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

I have no dog in this fight, but after reading through the thread and learning everything there is to know about this situation, it is clear to me that Mike is the victim of a witch hunt perpetrated against him by anonymous message board posters. The so-called "evidence" is laughable (again, if it was so overwhelming, why hasn't be been DQed)?

I can't stand to see a man brought down like this ... especially a man like Rossi, who represents all that is good about the sport of running. That's why I care about this, I guess.

I don't know why he wasn't DQed, that is a good question. One possibility is bc they didn't look at the video.

Looks like doctored images to me ... lotta questionable data there. Putting the word "proof" on a photo doesn't make it proof of ANYTHING.

Mike Rosi puts 100% effort into everything he does. Including trolling these forums. He managed to turn you against each other time and again. He has his BQ and despite all your efforts be beat you as well. Next step is the DJ hall of fame. Don't try and stop him. He will just crush you. Because Mike does everything with full force. We really don't know how much evidence was looked at by the committee. I probably wouldn't say he was exonerated. Here is their statement:

"After a thorough review of the available evidence in relation to Mike Rossi’s participation in the 2014 Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon, the Marathon committee concluded that while there is data from Rossi’s participation in other racing events indicating that Rossi’s time may not be accurate, there is not conclusive evidence that his time in the 2014 LVHN Via Marathon is inaccurate."

Can you tell me what multiple RD's throughout the country exonerated him as well?

I have nothing against Rossi. He could be a great family man and great guy. However, that doesn't change the overwhelming evidence that he did not run the full marathon course in 3:11.

I respect Mike Rossi's morals, because I know enough about the real Mike to know that he's not a rule breaker. That is all.

Look - it's basic exercise physiology that Mike didn't run 3:11. Unless he got on a skateboard, rollerblades, car, bike etc or had a jet pack there's no way he can do that.

Since Mike Rossi is a chunky guy, if he thinks he actually ran 3:11 I'd like to see him do an interval workout and have experts do some exercise physiology studies on him. If it is true he ran 3:11, then He defies what any exercise physiologist thought would be possible.
