To my knowledge. There was also a well-written letter that summed up the evidence nicely. Maybe we could crowd-fund the task of contacting last year's racers the way that we did with the photo analysis. Since it would be a lot of work, perhaps we contact LVM one last time and let them know what is happening in case they want to issue a DQ before any more damage is done to their race's reputation.
I see that Cowtown Marathon needs a logistics Manager for their marathon. Any interest Greg?

By crowdfund, I meant crowdsource.

I am not sure if you are referring to mine, here
http://runningwithintegrity.blogspot.com/or not. But what you are suggesting is what I have suggested a couple of times. Specifically, while not a courtroom, we do not have "standing", particularly since the LVM has already reviewed (the quality notwithstanding) this and in their final line of their statement said that they would not have any additional comments on this matter. That in spite of saying "Therefore the LVHN Via Marathon Committee concluded that Rossi will not be disqualified unless additional conclusive information arises in the future."
The best thing is to have as many LVM runners as possible, either trying to get every one or the Top 200, to deliver a signed statement condemning the Committee's flawed and illogical statement, lack of transparency and what they have to support that he ran the race or his time is accurate, and not issuing a DQ. In addition, they could provide additional evidence, such as the new video of photos from 5 different locations.
Anything presented to the LVM Committee would be better received and more powerful by those who ran it, those who can claim that the LVM's decision and failure to act has caused their hard work and effort to be diminished and cheapened by Rossi and by the Committee.
Rossi cheated to BQ. He then posted a letter to social media ridiculing the principal of his kids' school to draw attention to himself. When faced with mountains of evidence which prove he cheated, he lied about it and then hid behind a lawyer and (at least temporarily) disappeared from his beloved social media. Rossi is a cheat, a bully, a liar, and a coward, not to mention a terrible role model for his children. Notwithstanding all of this, it appears Rossi will get away with his scheme because of a Race Director who doesn't know how to do her job and/or who couldn't care less about the integrity of the race she is responsible for. Unfortunately for Rossi, due to his massive ego and the power of the Internet, runners the world over know what he did. Even worse for Rossi, his children probably will learn of this someday, if they haven't already, and it will change the way they view him. He will reap what he has sown.
As sure as I am from having reviewed all of the publicly available evidence that Rossi cheated to BQ at the 2014 LVM, I am just as sure based on the same evidence that Mr. Rendall did not carry Rossi's bib during the race or assist Rossi in any other way. The fact that Ken Stillman (aka poster LoserMikeRossi) suspected Mr. Rendall of helping Rossi cheat is a reflection of how obsessed Stillman is with Rossi. The fact that Stillman told others, even privately, of his suspicions about Mr. Rendall, and didn't drop it immediately when he was challenged by the others is a testament to how stupid Stillman is.
So, what have we learned from this thread? In my opinion, we have learned that Rossi is a cheater who was outed by his own need for publicity and that Stillman is obsessed with Rossi and probably needs professional psychiatric help.
I learned more here than I did in graduate school. That is what I learned.

Ken do you realize how ridiculous you sound? You've been obsessing on this dude. Every single one of us tried to get you off of him. Sara mentioning his name is not slandering him in any way. Saying that you are falsely accusing someone is not slandering them. YOU wanted people to have a conversation and record him--invade his privacy. Simply because he started and ended near the same time as Rossi.
Ken seems a bit "off" to say the least. But you do realize that you started a website dedicated to Rossi, right. I know you added a couple of other people, but it was created b/c of your obsession with Rossi. And now you say someone else is "obsessing" about him? Strange but true.
Yes, that's the one. Nice work!
Agreed with everything else you wrote!

Why would that make you tough?
Thanks......more to come on the blog. I've written a lot more to others and rec'd responses. But have not updated. I have other thoughts and observations, some about here, some from Rossi himself, but I only have so much time.

No kidding. He was LMR before LMR.
What's the odds this makes it to 10K posts?

Actually Doubler created that blog because he started a thread on Kara Knoblock-Moore's marathon cheating and it was promptly deleted without any reason given. The blog was started to give runners a place where they could compile evidence against suspected cheaters without having everything unexpectedly deleted. He wrote about Rossi after several other cheaters - likely as a way to gain more clicks on his blog, as Rossi was a current hot-topic on this forum.

Without LMR, a lot less.
Without a real piece of new evidence, a lot less.
But - Mike Rossi has proven himself just enough of a jerk to see this thread continue.

For madletsrunner and others I give you:
an update on statistics, my whereabouts, and a reflection:
Update:
6/5: 5000
6/15: 6425
6/16: 6683
6/17: 7022
6/18: 7244
6/19: 7418
6/20: 7570
6/22: 7894
So the thread maintained a general pace of about 150 posts per day.
So the pace is now to hit 10000 posts on July 4.
Where I've been:
I took a break from the board. I pointed out the McCall video and photos and tried to get people focused on some source of actual evidence/point of interest. Figured I should take my own advice that I suggested to others. I had a good father's day weekend, changed lightbulbs, mowed the lawn, played catch with the kids, finished some projects, went to church, and went for a long run and tried to do an interval session but gave way to the heat. Returned today, read a few posts, and the secret Facebook page stuff just confirmed my reflection from this weekend when I was offline.
My reflection:
I wish everyone on the board good luck in achieving whatever sense of personal satisfaction and sense of righting a wrong they are pursuing in this thread. That said, for me, I got some perspective thinking about Charleston and how many kids/adults were celebrating Father's Day in pain or without and how precious our time is and what to do. I thought about how could I explain posting to my Dad who would barely have understood 'online forums' and wondered if my kids would ever come to me and say Dad you should check out this thread on Letsrun etc. I decided that whatever interest I had in this car-wreck of a thread where the hostility actually seems to have increased from righteous indignation and public outrage to something that I can't really even describe it is just so unique, well that interest needs to be set aside for me. If I felt the thread could accomplish something more, or could be more courteous I guess, maybe I would feel differently. At the moment I just have decided to walk away. Not telling anyone else what to do nor making judgments. Just saying goodbye and thinking maybe attaining 10000 posts may not mean that much to me or anyone in the grand scheme.
Adios,
poster of statistics
No, he didn't.
Really, he didn't. The letter is actually quite complimentary to the principal and the school. Try reading it again.
It's the big problem I've had with you Mike Rossi Truthers this whole time - Rossi wrote a pretty innocent letter, which was picked up by the media. I can't really comment on what he said or did in the media afterward, as I don't live in Philadelphia, and I sure as hell don't watch The Today Show. But the letter was fine.
A bunch of deranged losers then read the letter and started making death threats and other assorted garbage towards the principal. Unfortunately, that's the nature of social media these days. Ken Stillman is one and the same as these losers.
Rossi cheated for a BQ. That's bad. He deserves to be outed for that. He deserves to be DQed for that (sadly, it won't happen).
But drop the whole "he ridiculed the principal" argument. It simply doesn't hold water.
