Wow. I hadn't thought of that option. That could be it. Maybe I'll bring this up next time I meet with President Nixon.

Rojo?
Sorry, been out of town for the past week and haven't checked on this.
Where's this thing at now?
Dead! abingtonrunner's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these hobby joggers. Now, we could fight 'em with conventional weapons. That could take years and cost millions of lives. Oh no. No, in this case, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
10000 marbles please
Wake up when we all do races we never notice a runner who jump out of the race after the first 1-3 miles of a marathon , either way Rossi a joke if i was that loser i would say guys meet me anywhere for a run and i show you i can hold a 3:11 marathon pace for 12-15 miles , he won't because he can't he nothing but a 2 bit salesman .Rossi i and everyone on letrun can't wait to see your sorry ass time on your next marathon what a joke that will be lets me guess my hip, my ass,my leg , i could not cut this course , you might of won this round but you will always be a D- Plus class runner !!!!!
The conclusion is that Rossi drank unicorn blood, turned into Darth Vader, and ran a 3:11 legitimately, but while invisible.

Someone on here has to be a Linux user... just use wget and a glob pattern to download all of the photos (Google it).
It would be great if someone could do that.
does this thread now count as "a really futile and stupid gesture" or do we have to do something else?
as of now all hobby joggers are on double secret probation

There is a 5k tonight in the town next to Mikes. Maybe you, Loser mike rossi, abingtonrunner and hvrunner67 can hobby jog it with mike to see if he can hold marathon pace for all three miles. If nothing else it would make for some interesting pics.
Give it up dude. Everyone else has moved on.
You people really need to stop this. The RD narrowed the guilt test so that only by a miracle he could be caught leaving the course. Looking at any other evidence is not part of their "investigation". They already knew they were not going to hand out the DQso had to make their test fit that decision.

The RD said they did not hear from anyone... Of course what they're not saying directly is that they never reached out to anyone, but simply no one came forward with information. Do you get it now? They never wanted to DQ him in the first place. The hard work put in by posters was nothing but donated time in the end, it's worthless.

i think it counts
Yes, I understood exactly what the RD said or didn't say in their nonsensical statement. I wrote extensively about it yesterday. My question was really whether anyone from here had tried to reach out to the 30-40 identified runners in close proximity that were noted early on in this thread and in the spreadsheets as to whether they actually ever saw Rossi on the course.

"Hi, you don't know me. I'm an angry stalker from Letsrun.com.
Think back 9 months to the marathon you ran. Do you remember a guy in black shorts and a black shirt?"
"Don't ever call me again, weirdo. Click."

Abbingtonrunner - ignore the haters. You're doing the right thing and are on the right track. The support is still here. Especially when the Letsrun article is posted. We just need to stay vigilant and keep moving this thing forward.
Also, a word to anyone who is opposed to the pressure placed on LVM FB page - I do believe the marathon is a "good" marathon overall, with a good cause and a good experience for the runners (some more than others). However, when a non-transparent move is made like this one, where integrity is on the line, sometimes the response needs to be a little extreme to actually affect change.
so if a race participant recalled seeing him in the race that would mean what?
or if 18 months later no one recalled seeing him in the race that would mean what?
definitively would mean what?
the photos were the best shot at this, and there was still no DQ
it is really over
keep complaining and stirring it all up and pretty soon I will become a MR believer too
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
