Ouch. Lots of bad rigging today - the 500m WR guy, Rowbury, the 2nd place finisher in the woen's 400.
Is Cain still able?
Looking forward to Cain's post race interview. She is really going backwards.
I wonder if dressing like a hooker helped/hurt Rowbury.
CAIN IN 8th in 4:33, she got beat by Houlihan. Really bad run for her, not a great indoor season for her so far.
So much for Houlihans collegiate record through, 8 seconds off.
Why is no one talking about the 500 record? I know it's the 500, but it's the most impressive mark so far. Spratling is not a big name either, except for his earlier NCAA record in the 500. A specialist, no doubt...
Mary Cain is DONE.

Yes. Excited.
Cain is a total head case. In a preview she refered to herself in the 3rd person! Should have went to college, learned what life is all about a md grew the hell up. She will be mentally broken now. As much as I would love salizars coaching job, I don't think I have the mental energy to handle this talk after her race!
Stupid pacemaking.
31.xx and checking her watch and then trying to get her split??? WTF???
32/64
33
34/2:11 and kept slowing
Should have been
33
32.xx/65
32.xx
32.xx/2:10
I'm watching on the NBC sports app and my stream went out right before the end of the race. What happened to Rowbury? It looked like she was really staggering the final few steps. Did she just rig up?
Got the win. The American record was out the door by 2 to go which was 3:18.
Damn, as hard as Ive pushed myself in races, I never struggled like Rowbury before. Way to hang on!

A lot of athletes don't care about indoors, No need to worry, what matters is June to early September.
As you said, he has the NCAA record, which I think he ran as a sophomore (I was there), so no surprise. Still well done
Shannon just rigged up/caught a cramp. Looked like her right calf just locked up. A lot of these athletes don't run on 200 meter tracks a bunch. The tight turns sometimes stress your lower leg more if your bit used to it. No big deal. But How BAD was that pacer!!!????
Yes, she said in the post-race that the 64 came back to bite her; she rigged up hard the last 50. I'm all for colour, but that pink lipstick, even for V Day, needed to be blotted a bit.

Best pun I've heard so far this Eve.
As I said earlier, that pacer was fvcking horrible in the mile.
Good on Ajee Wilson for a good run again though.
Also, MYLES f'ing MARSHALL. He's unreal.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
