Ok, so I ran 2 miles a few times about 3 weeks ago, but it's been long enough that that doesn't count.
I had shoulder surgery 3 months ago and couldn't run for a while. There is a local 5k on my old high school XC course (I'm 23 now).
I made the decision to run it, and thought about running a few days this week, but I thought it would be fun to run without any training. I mean ANY training. I haven't rode a bike, the elliptical, or ran for at least 3 weeks and only a few times before that in the past 3 months.
Fortunately I haven't gained any weight, but it's going to be interesting...
Anyone else every done this? Your experience? Advice?
