Runners,
Research shows that polarized training (80% low and 20% high intensity) is better than threshold training (60% low-35% moderate-5% high or 60-40-0)
My training is something is easy runs (the average of the run) ranging between 8:45/mile and 7:55/mile. End of some easy runs are at 7:30 mile.
Easy runs account for 32 miles/week. +warm-up and cooldown and recovery jogs for workouts is 8 miles
I run a total of 5 miles at 5:15-5:25/mile in one workout (600/800/1000/1200s) and 3,5 miles at 4:35-4:45/mile in an other workout (200/300/400s).
I run really zero miles between 7:30/mile and 5:25/mile.
My training is ploarized in 82-0-18 proportion. Do I train really good?
I run 15:2x for 5k and I am in winter training now
