Yes Rome could. Dude is fit and unlike Shaq is intelligent. Actually I believe Rome would get in Shaqs head and break him down to the point of crying before the bell even rang.

Jim Rome is terrible, the worst radio host on the air. Any braindead retard could sit there for 3 hours reading e-mails. He repeats his punchlines 8 or 9 times in a row.

On what measure is Shaq not intelligent? Is it in his inability to write a sentence like "Yes Rome could."? He is the most clever and entertaining interviewer of all pro athletes going back for many years. No reporter was ever a match for him. On the court he was the go-to guy at clutch time for about a decade with the Lakers and at Orlando.

I'm curious as to how you came to the conclusion that he is not intelligent. I bet this is the part where you become very quiet.

Jim Rome was over about 8 years ago. Shaq was over about 3 years ago.

I would love to see Shaq and Rome get into a physical fight so I could see the Daddy beat the every-living piss out of that cocky little dickweed. Rome deserves to have his ass beat on national TV at least once a week.

I think Shaq would win. I'd like to see Rome stay healthy, though. I'd hate it if his show goes off the air (radio). Don't care for his TV show, however.

I always had the impression that Shaq was quite intelligent. I never got the impression Jim Rome had any value at all.

Rome is way played out. He repeats the same jokes over and over and over for years. It's only the fact that his listeners are so unintelligent that lets him get away with it. "Clones" are so dumb they can't even come up with their own jokes, they just repeat Rome's. We'd all be better off if Jim Everett hadn't been stopped when he beat that pussy up.

Shaq should be above whining about sports talk show hosts saying he's washed up. He is. The truth hurts sometimes. Shaq is a great personality and will have a great career after basketball, but he needs to be less sensitive!

Shaq makes his money off the court, fool. Shaq can buy and sell Rome like a used car. Are you stupid enough to think Shaq really would fight Rome? Shaq is just being Shaq. That why he can make so much money off the court.

obviously this fight would never happen. shaq would cripple rome. just saying shaq is being a baby about the whole situation. no one likes a sore loser.

Listening to Rome's radio show is the best 3 hours of my day. I don't care much for his tv show, but the radio show is top notch entertainment & he is the best sports interviewer in the business. Well respected by athletes and coaches as well.
