Yes, the guys is darn good. But it seems he's letting himself go. Would he better if he lost some weight, or does that extra fat help him to better "absorb" hits and tackles?

Ben Roethlisberger is the greatest football player ever.

I don't know, I'm not sure it would affect him much. He is definitely on the chubby side (I'd guess ~15-20% body fat), but a lot of QBs dont' look that good if you take their shirts off.
Any athlete would be better if they were more fit.

Who cares what kind of shape that sex offender is in. Well, other than Kobe Bryant, who is probably happy to have the company in that category.
Anyone who roots for the Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots, Cubs, Red Sox, Yankees or Lakers is nothing but a bandwagon-jumping piece of crap.

I wouldnt include the Steelers in that category. In the past they have always had a big fan base. I agree that there are many bandwagon jumpers in sports, but a majority of the steeler fans have always been faithful. They have always been the real AMERICAS TEAM
It's easy to have a faithful fanbase when you have nothing else going on in that city and when most of your residents are born and raised from the area. If the Lakers suck, they can always do something else, like go to the beach or Vegas etc.
All the Steelers fans in Ohio (And there are a ton of them, especially in the rural areas) are the biggest, most annoying bandwagon jumpers there are. The funny thing is that most of them are also Michigan fans so you have to give it to them for sticking with a crappy program recently.

I actually respect the Steelers because THEY win. But I also hate the Steelers because their entire fan base consists mostly of obnoxious jackasses.
Part of Roethlisberger's game is that he is big and hard to bring down. I'm not sure if all that extra fat helps, but certainly the muscles beneath the fat are most important.

Since Ben is from Findlay, you have to think he is the reason for a lot of those fans. Of course that area of the state has always had a lot of traitors who root for the team up north.
When I was at the Hall of Fame recently, I did see a few people with their Stillers jackets on.
