Trackalerts:

Kellion Knibb and Shadae Lawrence both got their Olympic qualifying marks. Knibb's runner-up 61.44m was a new Jamaican record.

Oregonlive:

"My hope is that coach Robert Johnson can let down his guard. Fans deserve to know who is part of the program and who isn't. Refusing to acknowledge high-profile departures leads to speculation there is something to hide. Not every question or criticism about what happens in the UO program is a personal attack."

Oregonlive:

Johnson admitted the "Jasmine Todd situation stings a little bit" and added it was something the coaching staff "should have done a better job" with.

ESPN.com:

Scott: "I saw that Oregon was ahead ... I just knew that I had to do whatever I could to score as many points as I could."

Registerguard:

Washington was not the most heralded sprinter at Oregon, but came through as the "hero".

University of Georgia Athletics:

Georgia also got a win from Kendell Williams in the heptathlon.

Journal Times:

All three of her final throws would have been enough to win.
