It's only just begun and Larry Rawson is going on and on about football fields again!!!
Mississippi st. 1500 girl is wearing a baseball hat in the race. Very rarely have I ever seen a woman wear a hat in a track race.

I can't dislike Rawson as a person but he's a hard listen.
I have no idea what Dwight S is thinking or looking at when he says A&M's 42.92 was fifth fastest all time among collegians. A&M itself has run faster than that on dozens of occasions.
And, as far as a top schools list, 42.92 would rank eighth, if we hypothesize the time being run by a team not already in the all time top seven; A&M is number one in that regard.

I've spoken to Larry. I know he's passionate about growing the sport but I just disagree with the way he thinks is best to do it. The meet is on ESPN U right now right? Most people are watching it online. There is no need to tell people how people got here. I mean when I watch the super bowl they don't tell me there was a 16 game season even though many people watching are new to the game.
Now I'm having to hear the same storyline I heard yesterday about coaches need steeplers as not everyone does it in HS.

Kamilos is from Neosho not Noshow. Coincidentally Frerichs is also from a small town in Missouri (Nixa). Both in the southwest part of the state.

I don't know. I missed the first heat. Had to restart my browser. Nothing but ads and features but little of heat 2 is shown. I just started watching and am ready to turn it off due to lack of coverage.
Larry Rawson also had to compare the last 40 yards of the women's 100m to a 40y dash for football. If I heard right, he said they run it in about 3.6 seconds give or take a second. Quite a big range for a 40y dash, Larry.

Larry. Okolo has great form, but it's awkward to repeatedly call her beautiful throughout the race and replay, even if people know you're talking about her form. Sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the commentary on the men.

Sorry to disappoint you Ben but I am not really Caleb!! He was running in the steeple yesterday when I was posting and I just used his name. I am from the KC area and remember you running in high school though if you are indeed Ben Barrows!
