Alberto and Galen were notably absent but the stars were out in full force at the Portland Track Festival with Shannon Rowbury, Steve Magness, the Gouchers, Alan Webb, Kevin Hanson, Desi Davila, Mark Wetmore, Shalane Flanagan, Evan Jager, Chris Solinsky, and many more in attendance. Evan Jager surprised even himself with a 3:32.97 clocking at the Portland Track Festival as Garrett Heath helped make the race. In other action, Shannon Rowbury nearly ran an 800 pb and then doubled back in the 1500 just 12 minutes later, Cam Levins got the standard in the 5000 as Chris Derrick struggled, and Andy Bayer got the standad in the steeple.

Mo Farah returned to the track and showed great finishing speed. Andrew Wheating returned as well with a win and said he's "back" and Jordan Hasay got double wins with impressive last laps. Plus the steeple debut of Andy Bayer, wins by Bridget Franek, Cas Loxsom and Kate Grace in a tshirt.
