Grand Slam Track’s bankruptcy plan proposes paying athletes about $6 million, or roughly 85% of the $7 million they are still owed while paying other creditors only 1.5%. If approved, this would open up the possibility for a season 2.

Grant Fisher wants his Grand Slam Track money: "Tomorrow would be the last day before I think people get pretty upset."
GST committed to paying Kingston prize money by the end of July; Fisher, who is owed $100,000 for that meet, said he has still not been paid. "I don't want it to come to a lawsuit and a big headache and Grand Slam being crushed and everyone saying 'I told you so,'" Fisher said. "I don't think that's a good outcome for anybody."

GST Kingston Day 2 Delivers: Emmanuel Wanyonyi Takes Down the 1500 Men; Gabby Thomas Runs 49.14 to Win $100K
The fantasy matchup in the men's 1500 (five Paris Olympic medalists across the 800/1500) delivered a thriller as Olympic 800 champ Wanyonyi (3:35.18) used a 51.58 last lap to beat Yared Nuguse, Cole Hocker, and Josh Kerr.
