A super Boston field just got even more super. Tanzania's Gabriel Geay (2:03:00) and Brazil's Daniel Do Nascimento (2:04:51) also join a field that already included Eliud Kipchoge, Evans Chebet, and Benson Kipruto.

D'Amato and Sisson both broke the course record as D'Amato beat out Sisson 1:04:29 to 1:04:35. Mantz ran 59:08 to win over Leonard Korir (59:13) and Sam Chelanga (59:15).

Spurred by a $40,000 prize money purse ($7,000 for the winners), 49 women and 62 men have registered for the championships division of the race including Conner Mantz who will make his pro debut.

Conner Mantz is not resting on his NCAA xc title laurels. He appeared on the LRC Friday 15 SC podcast and not only revealed he may do this weekend's USATF Half Marathon champs, but that he may try and break Ryan Hall's 59:43 American record.

No man has ever won the 15000 and 5000 at the same NCAA meet. Can Cole Hocker make history? Hocker, Conner Mantz, and Wesley Kiptoo have all already won NCAA titles in 2021 and will look to burnish their legacies by adding more in Eugene. One event guaranteed to have a new champ is the men's steeple, which is completely wide-open.

The distance races at this weekend's Track Meet in LA are stacked and can be viewed for just $5.99 and Jonathan Gault has questions about Lopez Lomong, Matthew Centrowitz, Conner Mantz, Sifan Hassan, and Sinclaire Johnson will fare.

Mantz ended the American individual drought with a DOMINANT final four minutes as he won by 22.1 seconds. In the team battle, NAU (1st with 60 points) was magnificent and they needed to be as Notre Dame had the best runner-up score since 1997 (87 points).
