at least 1 person has run in them. Reebok sizing is all over the place for me so i need to get into a store to try them on and that isn't happening any time soon.

There is a new Reebok Floatride Run Panthea too. Quite nice. More cushioned than the Run Fast, but still like 8.5 oz. It is a Floatride Run 1 with a normal no-cage upper.

It is very comparable to the Forever, but kinda the more premium version I would say. It has Floatride aka Pebax instead of Floatride Energy aka TPU. It feels bouncier and a bit less low to the ground in the forefoot particularly. It is lighter, a bit softer, and bouncier. Still less cushioned then the Floatride Run 2. It is more of the versatile daily trainer version of the Run Fast, whereas the Forever Energy is the cheaper TPU version.
Yeah this shoe is really good. It is basically a Floatride Run 1 with a non cage/knit upper, so all good. Feels bouncier than the Forever Floatride Energy and a bit more cushioned. Also a bit lighter.
I like a snug fit and wear the same size as the Forever Floatride Energy in these.
Tell me about the tongue and lacing.
I can't see a loop for the laces to hold the tongue so is it sewn in?
Also the lacing system looks kinda crap, how is the lock down?
where are the reviews? wrote:

The tongue is very thin but is attached to the sides so it doesn't slide out of place. The lacing system is a bit odd, but I have not had an issue getting a good lockdown.
these are super snug.
the midfoot is narrow and the toebox is tight. i have a pretty normal foot and dont usually have a problem with width.
the fit might work in a race shoe but for a daily trainer i found it too constricting.
i can see the upper getting hot on longer runs too.... and holding plenty of sweat/water.
disappointed i have to send them back cause they look good and they felt alright underfoot when i did a few laps of the coffee table.
it gets a good write up on doctorsofrunning.com

I just bought a pair and like them so far. But I am a big fan of the floatride foam and reebok shoes. They work for me.
Definitely will run warm as the upper is not the most breathable, but that doesn't bother me. They are snug, but no issues so far and they do seem to lockdown well. They are about 8.5 oz for size 9.5, but feel pretty fast. I cranked out a sub 5 mile with ease and they felt smooth. I wouldn't use them for fast WOs very often when I have lighter shoes for that, but they can go fast if needed. I find the outsole of Reebok shoes to be quite durable and think that would be the case here as well.

Just got my Pantheas, and whoa, I guess Reebok's sizing isn't very consistent. I went half a size down for the FFEs because that's what everyone was saying to do when I bought mine. The length was good but the shape of the toebox was such that my big toe pushed against the inside of the shoe harder than I would like. After much deliberation, I decided to go true to size for the Panthea, and they are no bigger than my half-size-down FFEs. If anything they seem a bit tighter.

I went down to size 9.0 for the FFE and the Floatride run fast. However, for the Floatride run fast pro, the 9.5 (my size in most other brands) fit right.
I was thinking to go with 9.0 for the Panthea as well...is that most peoples experience?
A bit tough based on your comment.
I am typically a 9.5. My sizes are below.
Run Fast: 9.5
Run Fast Pro: 9.5 and got a 9 very cheap which seems like it will also work fine since it is a flat for short races.
Forever Energy: 9
Panthea: I got a 9 and it fits well but snug. It is quite a secure fit, which I like even in daily trainers. Could use a tad more width in the toebox maybe, but I think a 9 or 9.5 would work. If you are narrow, I'd go with a 9. If you have toebox width issues, go 9.5. I might order another in 9.5 since you can get them for 40% off anyways and I like this shoe a lot.
Sometimes if you don't size down, you run into achilles rubbing issues in shoes with bare achilles cushion. Stuff like the Infinity React, Turbo 2, Epic React, etc. The Panthea shouldn't have this issue, so if you did go 9.5 and it was a bit roomy, you probably wouldn't have issues with that. Kinda comes down to your experience with toebox width and if you prefer a snug fit or not.
hmm, looks like we are different for the Run Fast vs. Run Fast Pro. The Run fast pro i tried 9 but there was no way i could run in it....length was too short. The Run fast I could probably run in 9.5 but chose a tighter fit....i don't think either are perfect for me. The FFE fits great at 9 (i.e. some left over space and good for daily training)
If you sized down in the Run Fast, I would probably size down in the Panthea. The Run Fast fits really well for me in my normal 9.5.
Either way, you'll probably be fine though. And at 40% off right now using the mother's day sale, they are only $65. You could order one of each size right now for basically the price of one and return the one that doesn't fit as well.
Really nice shoe though. It is basically the more premium version of the Forever Energy. A bit softer, a bit lighter, and bouncier.
Because , like adidas , they will take your order , but nobody is in the warehouse to ship.
? #ship

yeah, am leaning towards size 9....will give that size a try. The FFE is a great daily trainer for me so hope the Panthea is as well
The FFE is great too, but I think you'll find the Panthea a bit more forgiving and a bit faster at the same time.
Enjoy.

Let me be more specific. I too am a size 9.5 in almost every running shoe. Except I went down to 9.0 for FFE. I went 9.5 for the Panthea and they are just as tight as the 9.0 FFEs if not a tad tighter. If you are normally a 9.5 and wear 9.0 FFEs, I would not recommend sizing down on the Panthea. Maybe Reebok's sizing is just really inconsistent, and if that's the case then it's just luck of the draw no matter what you do. But if your experience turns out to be anything like mine, the 9.0 Panthea will be too small for you.
Adding to the Reebok anyone get miles in the Harmony 3.5? The upper looks a lot better was thinking of Harmony to replace Pegasus/Ghost Glycerin as the durable workhorse.
I ran in the Harmony 3. The 3.5 is just an upper update with the logo switch.
I wasn't a big fan of this shoe. The midfoot and forefoot cushion are really nice. It is soft and bouncy TPU up there. Softer and better cushioned up front than the Forever Energy. My issue is with the heel. The heel has a firm EVA layer on bottom that makes the ride much firmer and stiffer in the heel. It feels a bit stability-like because of this and does not transition well. The firmer, stiffer heel just sticks out compared to the modern midfoot/forefoot. It feels like a clunky heel striker.
In terms of fit, the upper is very roomy. Very wide overall and a seemingly a half size big.
If they made the whole midsole the Floatride Energy foam, it would be much better.

If you trained in the Pegasus daily, you shouldn't have issues with the Forever Energy or the Panthea. I would go with the Panthea.
The Ghost and Glycerins are kinda clunkers too though, so maybe you wouldn't have issues with the Harmony. It just feels like a tale of two shoes in the heel and up front.
Until I try them, I guess I can order both...free returns!
