Next man is Lake Biwa winner, Evans Chebet. Won in 2.07.29, here is my mini bio:
Favourite to win not only because he holds the fastest time of the entrants but also his consistency and he has been on a podium at a major is Evans Chebet. He is 31yo and ranked 57. Won Buenos Aires in September in 2.05.00 after second in Milan in 2.07.22.
In 2017 was second in Valencia in 2.05.30. His podium at a major was Berlin in 2016: third in 2.05.31. Has four sub 2.06 marathons on his resume, would there be ten others who could claim that?
I worked out a top 50 on this thread after Tokyo and he was 41. I think his win now sends him to number 4. I wouldn't change my top 3 from then: Kipchoge, Bekele, L.Cherono.

That lady is Helalia Johannes, third at the worlds then could not finish Nagoya this year as the defending champ.
Below is what i wrote in my Nagoya thread:
Last year’s winner, the Namibian, should win again; but it will be a great three way contest. Helalia Johannes is 29yo and ranked 20. Ran her PB here: 2.22.25. Was third in the oppressive conditions at the worlds.
Oops, Johannes is 39yo.
There is some symmetry in two of the three women that I ranked equal18th ended up with the exact same time at Valencia yesterday.
Excellent win in Boston, motors into my top 15 now.
This lady.
