Part of me agrees with you. But on the other hand, it's really hard for me to leave the high density of good restaurants, good trails, family and friends I have here, etc. It doesnt hurt that I dont commute (mostly work from home and when I drive in, it's off hours and only 15 minutes) and bought my house at the bottom of the market, so my housing is really affordable.
But yeah, the break-ins, homelessness, idiots littering and dumping piles of trash, etc are all pretty frustrating.
