Believe in the Jim walmesely
Rupp, korir, ward,
fauble, daddy lagat, Smith
Stinson, Derrick, Walmsley
Jake Riley, Droddy, and a slew of 2:11-2:13 guys I’m currently forgetting.
As much as I like Parker, he’s had one good marathon. Don’t sleep on Luke Puskedra, he’s sneaky fit. Is Andrew Bumby injured?
Larry Murphy (Jericho Mile)
Isn’t Biwott running? He should definitely be close to top 5. Lagat top 10. Sorry, I haven’t complied the rest of my top 10 yet.
Joey Whelan 1st
1 Korir, 2 Ward, 3 Walmsley
5-8. Other people
9. Matt Welch will squeeze in the $$ in 9th place with a heroicly vegan come-from-behind effort to catch all the meat eaters suffering on the hills
Syracuse men sweep it
According to Joey’s Strava, he hasn’t run in over three weeks...
Joey Whelan 1st
Is Puskedra healthy and fit? Would love to see him make the team.
1. Scott Fauble wins it all
2. Jaerod Word
5. Reed Fischer
6. Parker Stinson
7. Bernard Lagat
8. Jim Walmsly
9. Riley Jacob
10. Jerrel Mock
I said this in another thread awhile back but can't seem to find it.
The team will be Rupp, Korir, and Ward. Not sure what order. Walmsley will crack the top 10 and his fanboys will act like it is the best performance of the day or surprising in some way.
Sage Canaday is going for the top 10
Looking at Faubles training on strava, I don't think he's quite in top 4 shape yet. Obviously I don't know what other guys are doing, but he just broke 100 miles for the first time this cycle. There's more time, but after his disappointing fall racing season, I'm putting him in the "1b" tier with the others you mentioned in 1a.
