1. Aisling Cuffe 20:07 2. Katelyn Tuohy 20:11. Yup, she is done
1. Aisling Cuffe 20:07 2. Katelyn Tuohy 20:11. Yup, she is done
Aisling Cuffe wins in 20:07
Katelyn Tuohy second in 20:11
Mary Cain 33rd in 21:11
20:11 is 16:45 for 5K and then go another K. Not the hilliest course, but still.

Why is women’s race 6k vs 10k for the men?
Curious to see how Natosha Rogers does.
Looks like she still likes being a frontrunner.
Not a bad result I guess given her recent injury break. I wonder which event she might make a run at for the Olympic team
4 x 1500 = 6k so 5:02.25 per 1500 add 17+ to get mile time is approx 5:20 mile pace. Conditions were cold and wet, too so not fast.
How often do elite high schoolers run club xc nationals?

From what I have heard Tinman have been training all season for this. My bet is they get their butt kicked. That Templeton kid will finally find out what it's like to race real professional runners, not just washed up Kenyans. Sidney Getsthebooty is going to suck worse than he did at 5k champs. And I have no idea who Brazzle Dazzle is. Heard he sucks too. Those guys suck. But, I wish I could join the team.
I guess your hot take was pretty lukewarm after all. Templeton finished second behind tinman elite teammate Morgan Pearson. Cheers!

17 seconds does not apply at that pace. 2011 seconds * 1609/6000 = 5:25 per mile or 16:49 for 5K

Chris is a road guy...not a XC runner. He barely has any recent XC experience. Top 3 masters at Paul Short were Angell, Namoli, and Brock Butler. Sallberg won the 5K champs in San Diego over Cooke. Both will be tough. And yes, Loeffler will be in the mix.
The Paul Short course is basically a road race. Chris wins unless Abdi or Lagat shows up.
19th. You weren’t even close.
I guess if you train all year for club nationals and go 1-2 that’s a good day!
Fast Tuohy needs to get a life! Aislynn Cuffe is a former Footlocker Champion and ran well recently at the Manchester Road Race so for her to beat Tuohy is not a shocking result by any means.
Craig Virgo only got 12th at AAU nationals in the weeks after he set the Illinois HS course record. Guys like Frank Shorter killed him.
I think "Tuohy is done" was sarcasm. A solid result for her!

I am glad someone could see that. I guess I should spell it out!!!
Conditions were slow..:an inch of mud in most places and light rain. Corners were bad too.
We want a boots on ground race report from Jamin on his performance today.

From what I have read, UrbanNobrain had been training all season for this prognostication opportunity.
Well, UrbanNobrain, "those guys" who you say "suck" destroyed their competition, as Tinman Elite's 22 total points crushed second-place HOKA NYNJTC's 126 points. Tinman Elite's results include "that Templeton kid" (Aaron Templeton in 2nd place behind his teammate, Morgan Pearson), who, apparently finally found out "what it's like to race real professional runners, not just washed up Kenyans". Tinman's 22 point only gave them a team win by OVER 100 POINTS and team points like this: 1 + 2 + 5 + 6 + 8 + (10) + (17).
Hey UrbanNobrain, do you now have some idea who "Brazzle Dazzle" is? You know, Brian Barraza, who finished in 13th place and added FIVE points to the winning Tinman team total.
Hey UrbanNoBrain, did "Sidney Getsthebooty" --- I mean Sydney Gidabuday (he of the 19th place finish, out of 475 finishers, I think) --- suck worse than he did at the 5k champs?
It is worth noting where the Tinmen finished today:
Morgan Pearson --- 1st place
Aaron Templeton --- 2nd place
Brian Barraza --- 13th place
Reed Fischer --- 14th place
Connor Winter --- 17th place
Sydney Gidabuday --- 19th place
Patrick Joseph --- 28th place
Hey, UrbanNobrain, to quote Matt Damon in "Good Will Hunting": HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?
UrbanNobrain, you posted this drek: "My bet is they [the Tinmen] get their butt kicked." In response, let me just say...PLEASE TELL ME WHO WILL WIN THE SUPER BOWL, SO THAT I CAN BET 100% OF MY MONEY ON THEIR OPPONENT TO WIN.

Rough stuff, man! Is UrbanNomad that one dude in Nomad DP that Tinman Elite said "no thanks" to?
I finished a couple mins behind Jamin. Absolute worst conditions I have ever raced in. Could barely move due to mud everywhere. Got beat by a bunch of scrubs I have never lost to. USATF mud champs 2k19.
Why do they require check-in for this race? Totally ridiculous and unnecessary. The line was super long. Picking up your bib should be enough. I understand wanting to make this a championship level race, but with the high number of runners, it created a log jam.
Anyone know the reason for keeping this requirement?
