I'm pretty sure Connie got canned. I guess the Tufts administration wasn't satisfied with the XC "Triple Crown" but was instead very disappointed with his team's miserable showing at Div. III Indoors this year. That and he likes little boys.

They were 2nd in their conference to Williams, a perennial D3 powerhouse. I highly doubt he got canned. What\'s up with the co-coaches?
The "co-coaches" thing is just a cover-up. Alberto Salazar will be announced as the new Tufts Athletic Director and Director of Track and Field this afternoon at a press conference in Medford. I hear Rupp is already on campus and will be suiting up for the Jumbos this fall.
who cares, its D3
Yuot wins individual crown
Neal will win he had the power of the ring
Yuot will not win. He has been picked to win every national title since finishing second in cross country two years ago and he has one, and indoor 5k. Tyler sigl from UWP will win and NWU will take the team title. Lacrosse is a bunch of bitches.
Tyler Sigl will not win
Neither will Neal.
I think jeff metzdorrf from hamline will get top 3, if not win. he is Tom Kreger REincarnate!
4 Aaron Johnston-Peck, So 24:49.5 Case Western Reserve inj.
How long has been injured? Any time table for his return?[quote]bucko wrote:
NWU could very well win the title. Ted does one of the best jobs in the Nation at getting his runners to peak at National meets. I'm not sure what they do over there in Nebraska, but those guys start out slow and drop time like crazy come the end of October and November.
maybe not but he is a hobbit.
Yuot will win, he is in top form and he is coming out hard this year. He came in second in the 5 and 10 at NCAA's and should have one. He ran 14:17 at Penn Relays and 29:21...he is a powerhouse
Wes Fuhrman is a beast he could be top 5 if he stays healthy
I'm very suprised to see who Tufts hired as "co-coaches." Both of these guys are very young and neither was a distance runner.
Individually you probably shouldn't count out Mike Sawicki since he will be running on a course he is very familar with. I believe they run All-Ohios on this course. I may be wrong though. Regardless, he should be mentioned. I also think that Crosby Freeman and Gary Garcia will be up there.
Yout just had Knee Surgery, Obviously it didnt effect him in track but whats the word? missing vital summer training? will he still be strong enough? he has to be the hands down favorite to win the title just because he is running the best out of anyone. The course is going to play a major part in the championship this year from what i hear. Just look at the all-ohio times, it has to be tough!
Very insightful post crazy sticks i think that this may change Mr. Brooks is not head coaching material.
