7x1 mile is not enough for marathon training. You should run the 5x18 mile. That is the ultimate, but also the best workout for an advanced marathon runner.

He has one... It's Drew Hunter of all people...
Why do you keep mentioning you let random strangers, specifically men, stay in your van overnight with you? Weird.

He also has a random dude he sleeps in a van with.

It's not working, he is busting balls literally on the track and in his van.

Because l like random men in my van. Have you seen my You Tube Channel?I only have one bed.
6 x mile with that much rest you should be able to go faster than half marathon pace, really you should be able to hit your 10k race pace. You're averaging about 5:07 here. 5:07 gives you a 67 flat half marathon, really you're probably more like a 68 flat since you should be able to go faster than half marathon pace in this workout.
So you're probably more like 2:24 marathon fitness right now. Unless the 6 x mile workout was very easy and you weren't trying very hard to run 5:0X pace.

I might have been tired from the manly love l was getting in my van.
And cut the cuteness. Show them respect, after all they're funding your little adventure instead of paying your 2d year tuition at college.
On the other front, if you're a better marathoner than 10k runner you might get to 2:19 within a year but it's a long-shot. Most people excel somewhere in the middle of the distance bell-curve. Rare to excel at marathon or 100 meters. But it's interesting...your 10k far exceeds your 5k so maybe.
Drop Hunter and go to the source and Drew won't be offended. Tin is what you need.
Good luck.

Nah, l would rather have strange men in my bed in my van. I want to be like Broke Back Mountain. I want to live the dream.

Because you're actually serious.
Know what? I'm unsubscribing. Just like I did with Trahan. At least he's very bright and understood he needed to join the vapid set to get to a million.. Your mannerisms are off-putting and your cuteness is cringy. Otherwise it's fun watching your training but work out your private issues...privately. I'm sticking with the pillars of stability, Athletes Special and Barrows.
What the heck do I know? I'm just a parent.
PS, take Emna with you. She waa actually great during her vids from Oregon and addressing her very real post-collegiate issues is commendable. She's just gotten too silly and anyway your both Nike shills.
I live in the Shoedio, and could only run a 2:22 off similar workouts - all on trails though.

I have two channels. And did l tell you l let strange men share my bed in a small van?Are you interested?

It was six, that was a typo. but did l mention that l let strange men sleep in my van, in the middle of nowhere, and we share the same bed? I also ran a hard 19 miles, at a 6:30 pace, so l am ready; either to run 2 19 or for more strange men to share a bed with.
Solid workout, if you've got the distance in your legs and good nutrition, you've got a shot. Best advice tho? Next time you want to post on LetsRun, foam roll and drink a glass of water instead and you'll have a much better chance.

Are you by chance the dude that he slept with in his van? Because there is ZERO chance that dude gets 2:19, he might not brake 2:40, as if someone running 6 1600 meter reps with that long Azzz recovery, and averaging 5:12 a mile. By the way the dude was racing a 19 miler at 6:30 pace. Did you see that? Lol 2:19, lol, maybe at the 19 mile mark, if he is lucky.
I am Kickapoo and I approve this message:
Tell it to:
James Lightbody, Bill Bontron, Peter Snell, Jack Lovelock, Mel Sheppard, Jim Ryun, Marty Liquori
Roger Bannister, Steve Prefontaine, Craig Virgin, Hicham El Guerrouj, Haile Geberselassie,
Paula Radcliffe, Mary Decker Tabb Slaney,

Jesse Owens, Michael Johnson, Lee Evans, Tommie C. Smith, Sebastian Coe, Ron Clarke, Billy Mills,
Eamonn Coglan, Rod Dixon, Dick Quax, Arthur Lydiard, Bill Dellinger.
Yes, most of the above are dead.
However how about people like me who ran 90 miles a week, thru all kinds of upper midwest winter for
entire careers. Yet could not break 4 minutes for 1500 meters. How about all of us?

You are wrecking it for writers, announcers, but most importantly the Pioneers of the sport.
