Yep, I know it's her FIRST...and guess what a long, long time ago, I also did my FIRST...and over the years I have coached several FIRST timers, and 9 times out of 10 we (the runner and I), don't get it to far off, because it is based on not only experience, but customised to the runner.
I have also gotten many more to 'marginal' barrier times -eg sub 3, when you are 'just about sub 3- than not.
I don't know everything about the OP, but what I do know from her post, is that a) she converts into a good long run time with little mileage, b) she has done much more mileage than that (relatively) c) her potential now (and current shape) , is much better (I have tried to quantify it).
So, with respect to lots of FIRST timers that I have helped, she, to me , is on the easier side of getting to a given time.
