24 hours straight at a 14 min average pace or whatever it is can be quite easy until you hit the 16th hour. Then you have to somehow keep that up for 8 hours straight to finish. If you're feeling a niggle, a chafing.kssue, a blister, tiredness, mentally unalert, not able to eat food, you will suffer for 8 hours. Based off your 59 mile 12 hour walk , you could walk 100 miles theoretically in about 36 hours straight in an honest attempt. Though I imagine you did not experience hunger or tiredness or blister issues on your leisure walk. Throw in a run walk schedule and up the effort to 10 minute running pace and 16-20 minute walking breaks and you could hit 24 hours. Though, you probably want to be able to run at least a decent 50km run beflre hand to make sure your feet and legs can handle the pounding from thw run part of your run walk.

Sounds pretty fast to me. My guess is that your 1900 steps are not a real mile.
And 3.37 mph would be 80 miles over 24 hours.
Anyway there is no way that you can just run/walk this without a significant amount of training and shorter races.
But don't take my word for it ( I am only doing this for 27 years), try it and report back.
Pedometers really overestimate your steps. Even standing at the traffic light different parts of your body are going to be in motion and cause the numbers to rise. 59 miles of walking in New York would be impossible in a day. I've walked from the south of central park to the bottom of Manhattan island and it takes forever. You spend so much time stopping for traffic going from block to block. It looks like it is easy from google maps but it just takes forever. 59 miles around Nebraska is a different kettle of fish and would be much easier/less stressful.

I could cover over 150 miles probably. I'm sure if I trained properly I would be close to the WR. You don't have to be anywhere near as good as Bekele to get near this WR.

No you won't. You wouldn't even get 100 miles in.
The WR is over 188 miles. That's just a 7.9 mph, I could ran that too when I was younger, but only for an hour or two.

I'll have you know I'm actually a sub elite runner(75 minute half mary a few months ago). Ok I'll be the first to admit I'm not Bekele but I could destroy the 100 mile barrier in under 24 hours. I never said I could do 188 miles. Maybe 170 or something if I trained. My speed is incredibly bad so I like to think I'm slow twitch enough to run good in a 24 hour race. Bekele could probably get the WR to 210 miles if he wanted.

There's a huge gulf between "could" and "did".
I have no doubt about the 1900 steps being a real mile (I tested this a number of times where I knew I was walking an exact mile). And I walked at a brisk pace for the most part - always at least 6000 steps and hour and up to 7000 if I pushed it a little.

You never have to stop, even in the middle of New York. If you don't have the traffic light, just turn right, left, or go back in the direction you came until the light is in your favor.
I even used to run in the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan a lot - same thing, can always turn when the light is against you.
If you keep having to turn you will literally be going nowhere

I've not done 100, but have done the last 31 miles of a 100 miler with someone and got them in at 23 hours and 56 minutes...
Terrain is important. Ours was all on very challenging trail and that made a big difference. On the hills if we were going 20 minute miling that was great work. If we were on the flat then we could knock out 10mm with little problem.
Rest breaks need to be kept *tight*. You seize up otherwise. You want to be in and out quickly.
Running part of it will make it easier. Start with walk/run from the beginning though.
