Not true. You don't know exactly what Lance took and how much versus the other athletes. As time passes, even with dirtbags like you and Lance, the truth gets twisted and facts are myths...he would have won without the drugs??? Yep, that's why he took them and risked his health, just for small insurance as he didn't need drugs anyways.
That makes you ignorant person at too many levels to explain. You know zero about professional cycling today or in Lance's days. He was a bully with a paid for protection program. He used Cancer to his advantage, which is sick. Please, stay in Texas and don't get near the borders you Sissy Boy Lance Lover;)
Since were in the mood for forgiveness and forgetfulness, let's go ahead and give Rosie Ruiz her first place Boston 'Thon winner's medal back. She rightly deserves it as she helped spur on countless attention seeking individuals whose main purpose is to increase the spotlight on themselves by whatever means possible.

Yours certainly is, yes. You are willfully ignorant, a perfect fit for Trump Nation.
As others have said, the difference between Lance and every other dude busted for PEDs is that Lance was an over-the-top bully. Additionally, he took the scorched-earth policy in defended himself. Thirdly, although everyone lied, who did it in the way Lance did it? - blatant, repeated, in-your-face, stare into your soul, combative denial. He freakign made a damn commercial about him not cheating that turned into some kind of saying. "You want to know what I'm on? I'm on my bike."
I can't think of anyone else who did this. That's the difference.
He made his bed.

No way. He doesn't get to say that. He was a cheater. Others were too, but they would have destroyed him if he hadn't been cheating. If he were so sure he would have won anyway, then he shouldn't have cheated. He's a loser who deserves to be a pariah the rest of his life for this cheating he did.

So then you have to apply that to all of the top cyclists. Then you're left with nobody. Tell me how I'm wrong.
If everyone is cheating then nobody is cheating.

Ummmm.......NEVER!
As a former Austin resident I have heard of stories of Lance getting into fights with other cyclists for the stupidest reasons. The guy just might be the biggest prick ever. Just a total prick.
rojo wrote:I have a good friend agent Tom Ratcliffe who would bet his life that Komen was clean. \
Look. I take zero comfort in that fact that a friend of yours claims he was clean.
He was dirty.
And so was everyone else. His 12:39 and 7:58s, and 7:20, and his World gold are all impressive to me based on how good he was in an era when everyone was flooded. Not just on the track, but on the cycling circuit, the baseball diamond, the wrestling ring, etc. It is a known fact that PEDs were abused heavily in that era.
And they probably are today too.
The Aden group was caught red-handed, and their records and performances stand, they continue to compete, and enough time has passed that people are back to defending them.

Sure he does. Maybe he was a jerk and a bully, but he won every year by 6+ minutes. It wasn't even close. And that's just over the 2nd place doper. There aren't some special drugs that make an ordinary guy better than the elite druggies. Maybe there are some guys who quit cycling rather than take drugs who may have been the best, but we'll never know. Of all those who did participate, who is a more likely winner than LA?

Simplistic argument, befits a simpleton. Your intellect is a placebo effect, you and possibly many others lack a working understanding of drug responders.

People act like he never existed. He will always be one of the greatest cyclists in the world to me.
Other athletes who used PEDs are still loved. Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman!
Red Sox hero "Big Papi" David Ortiz!
I'm a fan all three guys. When will it be okay to be a Lance fan?
Apparently you aren't watching this year as they've not only mentioned him and his podcast several times but aired a clip of him giving commentary.
This ^^^ is the correct answer.
Phil and Bob actually did a live interview with him during a week 1 stage. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I guess he’s on the path to forgiveness. Behold, the healing powers of confessing to Oprah.

Taking as a given that he was a "high-responder" (unproven), was this...
1) ...more unfair than the other genetical advantages such as high baseline Vo2Max, high training response, good body type, high delta efficiency etc of some riders?
2) ... something he knew or had any control over at the time he used PEDs taking particularly into account that most of the information about performance capabilities and genes of his competitors is still nonexistent and all the results are generated simultanously as the PED use goes on? He could have had at best a very crude gut feeling about his presumed genetic advantage and in any case he could do nothing about it except fine-tuning voluntarily his dosage/arsenal down presuming that some next (unknown) presumed genetic freak would not've outdoped him.
The doping cheater and thief LA needs to be in a prison cell for life. That is a fact which every honest and intelligent person knows.

Simpletons resort to ad hominin when they don't know what they are talking about. This is made even worse by trying to "sound smart" when doing so. Just know this - you're not fooling anyone.

So how does this work? Lance is deemed to be a doper and gets all of his victories and performances erased. Gatlin and Kiprop are busted for doping and they get to keep their medals and prs. I wonder why?

You really admire criminals.
Bernie Madoff's wife also lives a life of leisure in a super-lux house. And that's not her only house.
Ivan Boeskey also lives a life of leisure in a super-lux house. And that's not his only house.
Michael Milken also lives a life of leisure in a super-lux house. And that's not his only house.
What do they have in common with LA? They are all criminals.
I'm sure that livin large won't mind if if his hero Lance steals all his stuff, and goes around town flaunting it.

You seem to be missing the point. I'm stating facts.
Those people were convicted in a court of law and did time. Armstrong lives a life of leisure in an amazing house in Aspen. He did not go to jail nor is he in jail currently.
