Yeah, this struck me while I was watching. Timmy was pretty polite and just let it go before passing him very carefully on the next straightaway. You can recall Centro in the '16 Olympic 1500 final parrying away when Souleiman tried what would've been a more legal pass. Jakob should be wary of trying to pull that on a more aggressive racer like the Makh daddy.

Considering Ovett beat some guy up in the 1980 800m final and got the gold while Morceli deliberately tripped El Guerrouj in the 1996 final and nothing happened. This was just a little bit of bumping.
