It's time for Sage to concentrate on 100k-100 mile races, if he wants to remain relevant in the ultrarunning world. There are lots of younger and faster guys now jumping into shorter ultras. I don't think he's getting back his speed( age and several years of heavy racing). It's not due to training mistakes like he keeps rationalizing. He's aged as a runner. It happens. The athlete is usually the last to realize it.
