I forgot about shorts. Solid.

It’s funny to see foreigners triggered at our apathy. We don’t give a s#it about you. Why would we? And why do you care? Don’t be so needy.
I guess we could talk about all the great and desirable technology that comes out of England, France and Australia. That conversation would last less than zero seconds.
I run with earbuds. As such, an American runner with earbuds is one less American that will disappoint you.
Are you sure that the people you're talking to are unknowledgeable, and not just uninterested in discussing such topics during a run? I know a fair bit about history, world affairs, and certain areas of politics, but these aren't really topics that I'm interested in discussing while I run.
Maybe the issue is just that you insist on yammering in people's ears while they're trying to enjoy a peaceful easy run.

From my experience on these boards, you should bring up Trump, abortion and men's rights activism (aka bemoan American men's sad persecuted lives).
Exactly. And don't forget fear. You've got to express loads of fear in all directions. Otherwise a white American conservative male will never be able to relate to you.

Don't forget to add how much we hate that hippy Jesus and how lazy and shiftless all our fellow welfare sucking Americans are.
The majority of Americans only know what they have heard on TV or what they've read in headlines from the sensationalist papers.
Talking with one is like listening to an old man trying to recall details from his past.
Beyond that soupy baby food like information fed to them, they have no knowledge to give them context or even to scrutinize what they are being told.
Soon peoples conversational limits will be equal to Siris, which will represent, for more than just a few, a significant improvement

I know, right!!! My liberal group therapy echo-chamber of paranoia eases my anxiety.

Yes, I prefer these superior intellects...

Alright, then what should us Americans be reading up on? Give me some specific things to research, not broad topics like art, music, comedy, etc.
Perhaps the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada (Justin Trudeau) who is also the 23rd Prime Minister of Canada and a son of a former Prime Minister. You could also bring up the President of Mexico (Andrés Manuel López Obrador) and his stance on t NAFTA. Most Americans, probably 95% can't name both the heads of state of two countries that border the USA.
Anyway, that's just for starters. Americans tend to be very insular in that they have no idea what is going on outside of their borders.

You do realize you look like an imbecilic clueless tool when you use the "Orange Man scary" meme as your name when you accuse others of echo-chamber groupthink. Maybe try using 'NPCthe RealONE!' next time, it really brings out the independent thinker in you.

Only independence I believe in, is Independence Day ?? ?? ??.
http://getwallpapers.com/wallpaper/full/9/2/f/42968.jpgReally, what kind of idiot wants to talk philosophy or anything else that involves brain power on a training run? Do you jog while you read a book? Or while having a coffee with friends?
Because this is how we see the world.

America first. Rest of the world should stop asking us handouts. Cut them all off.

There is weekly group meeting tomorrow evening that will address your anger.
America summed up in 10 seconds:
I am an American and ran with two guys from the UK at a running camp a while back. They were super critical about my "level of chat". Apparently "chat" is big deal in the UK. They were really worried too.. always telling me if my chat was good, bad, not up to par, etc. I didn't realize it was such a thing over there. On the flipside, Piers Morgan didn't last long over here, so who knows. I get along just fine talking with my fellow countrymen and women. So I guess I will stick to that.

I have been training with Americans at training camps, but the conversations stagnate at some point, so it is hard to get to know them. They don’t know much about geography or political institutions outside their own country. Is there any topics that I should bring up?
You could talk about letsrun. Or about how you made a post about Americans inability to keep a conversation going, yet you haven't replied once to this conversation.
