You're seriously pathetic Phantasy Star. Jakob got beaten by 11 east african athletes he will crush this summer on track again, yet you are still whining about allegedly age cheating of athletes looking younger than Jakob.
Would be great if we could have a similar course in a winter olympics, maybe on a slightly larger loop though.
Thomas Ayeko does have some legitimate other PBs. He's run 1323 for 5000, 27:40 for 10,000, 60:26 for the half and 2:12:04 for the marathon
Matt Crowe is a smart man. He's worn LetsRun yellow so he'll be easy to sport.

He's about 45 seconds back after lap 1.
The US men are doing great after 1 lap... all 5 within 15 seconds of the lead!

Interesting how bad (relative to track speed) the Americans are on this hilly course. Good thing Houlihan skipped it.
I would imagine it is not simply innate hill ability. The east African runners must train in a way that makes them better on hills.
Yes.
They train running over hilly terrain.
I mean, these African runners train at over 7000-8000 feet altitude over hilly terrain. Of course they would dominate this kind of stuff.

(SEE BOLD)
Kid has run low 3:3x against seniors. His father says he can break 60 minutes in the half marathon. I don't care the age of his competitors at this point in his career. He's beyond that. This was his worst result in a long time.
Uhhh, I don't think Jakob nor his crew placed much emphasis on this "race." This is not what the big boys train for. It's definitely a victory for him in that he got a great training day.

Inge cycling off the dope for the testfest WADA will be running at this event?
Canada beat the US in the women's race. What the hell happened to Japan? They often medal don't they? They were 12th.

For some reason Japan only had four runners entered in the race, so even a single bad result made it impossible to get a good place in the team race. Not that any of the Japanese ran that great today.
But Bor moving back was misleaidng as he was only 3 seocnds ahead of US #2 after lap 1 . Everyone was stillclose together.
