Should be a great day.
Should be a great day.
15 year old XC fan here!
Does anyone know where I can watch it!
:) Thanks!
Wonder if any of the runners, especially the South African contingent, will compete in bare feet in the men's and women's races (junior and senior).
Don't know about the men offhand, but a couple of the women's possibilities are: Carmie Prinsloo in the junior race and Aynslee van Graan in the senior race.
Prinsloo ran barefooted in the cross country race portion of the track events at the World Junior Olympics a year ago in Argentina.
van Graan competed in college cross country races at Coastal Carolina University mostly in her bare feet along with her sister Kyla and a couple other fellow South African runners.
Hopefully the course won't be too challenging for the runners.
I can't imagine what kind of video coverage we'll have. Can't picture a golf cart negotiating that course. A few drones would be awesome. Hoping for the best as it would be a big downer to have shite coverage after all this buildup.
I skimmed briefly the front page link to the article where Coe talks about
low participation.
How about a penalty for nations that don't send full teams.
If you can't send 4 runners, you send 0 runners to the next one.
Participate or face exclusion.
Misty cold morning in Aarhus. About 4 degrees Celsius. The free beer at the Mikkellar bar was good stuff last night. 16000k or 10000 miles to get here. An American coaching an Aussie....who would have thought.
Anyone sure of the start times?
Lol, someone at the BBC hates Kate Avery. Two bad pics?
Certain parts of the world are blocked, any others?
I LOVE the passion Letsrun and Americans have for cross country running. Now Europe has to step up. It is embarrassing that so few countries are sending athletes. That includes my own country Norway.
I am looking for many great races. Hopefully some Jakob magic. But most of all, just great races where the best runner wins.
After living 15 years in Seattle, USA. I will, of course, shout USA USA USA at the TV.
Relay race about to start. We're on course.
Good luck to everyone running today.
My God! That course looks mad!
Wilson Kipketer firing the gun for the mixed relays. El Bakkali starting for Morocco.
Exciting to watch this!
Please help me out. How should I watch as a non-US resident...?
Conseslus currently leading for Kenya with Ethiopia right behind already a gap to El Bakkali Uganda only ones that started a woman. Good move.
Kenyan needs more hill work!
