JQ - Generally agree with everything darkwave has to say. With 2 good workouts and a long streak of big miles, there’s no need to force a big long run. Heck, if you bailed and did 14 easy, that would fit in well within the big picture. If you feel good, are running 17-20, and want to close the last 2-3 at goal M pace—maybe even the last one around LT pace—that would be fine, but there’s no need to push things into the red zone. Keep the ball rolling.

Pappy - I forget that those things aren’t technically ellipticals. I think they’re going to be closer to a natural running-like motion than true ellipticals. They’re okay, but the rowing machine is more my thing if I’m stuck cross training. (Well, pool would be better.)
