I'm in a legal state.
And a federal contractor, under federal laws (this is where it gets weird).
So I can't take what is legal in my state.
But, I work on a military base, and alcohol is HUGE, and a HUGE problem. #basefest
And so is meth.
Take meth, and it clears your system overnight. No issue. Opiods, same. Cocaine, same.
But if I even SMELL weed in my LEGAL state, and if I get tested the next day - which is a possibility, I lose my job.
I can't even walk my dog around the block without smelling weed at least once a day, so this makes life quite difficult.
This is how it was during prohibition. But instead of gangsters with Tommy Guns making everything dangerous, we have drug gangs killing people because there's money involved, and we have a government essentially disabling citizens over things they literally can't control.
