When you start training should you focus on getting your speed together, I mean short fast runs, versus running really long, say 10 miles a day first?
I ran a couple of local 3-mile races and got hooked, but I have only been running 2-3 miles a day really hard maybe 5 or 6 days a week since April. The problem is this constant sore throat and borderline cold that keeps coming back.
Am I making an error? Should I just put the watch away for a while? I was reading the LYDIARD THESIS and could not believe that anyone runs that much, until I started reading these posts.
