Try asking (((him))) who he thinks is causing gun problems in the US. Try giving him a hint by letting him know that while they are only 13% of the population they commit 52.5% of all homicide crimes.

Sadly, liberal weenie college professors now outnumber conservative patriotic professors 28 to 1

So my college professor gave a big anti gun rant on Friday. He said nobody should be allowed to own a gun if any kind. Even revolvers. He said guns are the biggest problem in the usa and they need to be permanently banned and this is the main reason why we are one of the worst countries in the world to live in.
Thoughts? Do colleges intentionally search for teachers like this?
Good colleges search for controversial professors, yes. A well rounded student is exposed to multiple points of view. Academia tends to attract extreme viewpoints, especially in social sciences. The same college probably has some nra members, or at least gun owners, working as professors.
So you think guns are the problem?
How do you explain this one you mf cheesehead?

That's a smart professor and he is absolutely correct. 2nd amendment is outdated and should be re-written. How many Americans today own muskets?

There are actually conservative patriotic professors??

It's the idiot gun owners that are the problem. A bigger problem than a random stabbing. No brains + guns = problem.
1) In order to legally obtain an automatic weapon in the United States you have to submit paperwork to ATF along with fingerprints that get run by the FBI for background check. The process takes months. In addition to that, the cost to obtain a legally transferable Machine Gun is prohibitively expensive for most (think several thousand dollars minimum). Buying parts and converting a Semi Automatic firearm to a machine gun is also illegal and worth 10 years in prison. As it stands right now I don't believe anyone has committed a crime with a legally obtained machine gun since they became regulated in 1986.
2) I'm not positive but I think statistics show that Kevlar vests don't hurt people. I believe its actually the opposite.
3) Wont argue with you there.
4) The government doesn't have to use force to oppress us and they understand that it is generally the worst way to go about it. All they have to do is convince a large enough percentage of the population that the best thing is to be oppressed and its game over.

Abortion so far from 'lethal force' that I'm laughing

0/10 ... you were so close, but this extra bit makes it too unbelievable.
Either
1) This didn't happen (most likely)
or
2) You are an idiot because you are taking high school level trig in college, and therefore we shouldn't believe anything you say

Theres no such thing as high school level trig. It's a college course. If you took it at the high school level, then it was an AP course and you attend a very fancy rich all whiteboy school.

I suppose all classes can be taught at a more advanced level in college. But I went to a podunk parochial school that only offered 3 AP classes, Calculus being one of them, and Trig was just a 10th grade math class. Remember the woman/girl who got asked out by Roy Moore in high school while he was a grown-ass attorney? She said he called her at school while she was in trig class. She was 14 or 15 and this was in Alabama.
I had trigonometry since I was 13. I've also never seen a gun in real life, because after a mass shooting in 2011, our government tightened up restrictive gun ownership laws even further. There hasn't been a second mass shooting since. Maybe you wouldn't need a gun to protect yourself if other people couldn't get one either and maybe if you guys had better education, you'd realise that.
Your professor is obviously a corporate schill paid by the NRA to say inflammatory things about guns to fire up the mouth breathers and cousin humpers so they go out and spend more of their WalMart paychecks on assault rifles.

Walmart stopped selling assault rifles and pistols after the sandy hook shooting.
This entire gun control debate is simply fodder for the extremists. People on either end of the spectrum simply need to acknowledge and accept three things:
1. For the Extreme Left: Banning gun ownership outright is a ridiculous and absurd notion.
2. For the Extreme Right: Owning a handgun for protection or a rifle for hunting is perfectly acceptable. Any civilian who thinks they need or should be entitle to own any other type of gun is not only an extremist nut-job, but a clear and present danger to society.
3. For Everyone: Any crime committed with a gun, whether or not it's fired, should be punishable by death.
Problem solved. E/O/T
