Assuming the shoe actually provides 4% improvement how much could lacing time seriously impact a 2.5+ hour race? They’re not rubiks cubes lol

Cutting down time in the transition zone is super important to competitive triathletes. That's why triathlon-specific running shoes have no laces, why they make triathlon suits you can wear throughout swim, bike, run, etc.
Correction: some have laces, but they are the bungee cord type.
Jesse Thomas (Husband to Lauren Fleshman) wears them. I think he's worn them for a few IM and ran 2:44 on his last one. Can't find it, but some video with him said he just liked the way they felt.
