There are treadmills in my gym that can go at 12.9 mph(max 15 mph). I am going to try to see how long I can keep up that pace wearing Vaporfly 4% at 12.9 mph with 1% incline as my personal Eliud Kipchoge World Record Marathon Pace Challenge.
Yeah I can only run on a treadmill at the moment. I think I could just go 1km at that speed, 20.8kmh.
Event idea: "Kipchoge Death Grind. " You set up a race with a big start area and pavement markings every 100 meters on a wide loop course. All registration fees collected go to paying Kipchoge to fly in and run a marathon paced workout. All racers get to see how they measure up against the man. Person who lasts the longest with Kipchoge wins. Results would not reflect time, but how many meters that each runner lasted.
Kipchoge gets paid, everyone else suffers. After dropping out, participants would get to heckle/cheer anyone who is still hanging on and an up close look at the GOAT at race pace. I bet you could find a lot of people dumb enough to do this. I would.
42k with him on my back.
Probably 600m
