What would you do for tactics in Chicago, if you were Rupp?

Depends on how bad that Achilles injury is. If he shows up healthy then I think Galen needs the start as fast as he can. Don’t leave it to the last 2 k. Too bad it wasn’t a more hilly course then he could bust him up surging on the hilllike he did in Prague. I think the American record is just as important to Galen. Like some one stated in another thread Mo is not getting any faster in the 1/2. He’s older than Rupp. He’s beatable but Rupp has to believe that.

Anyone know who the pacers are? In some ways I wish this race was without pacers.

Rupp is the listed pacer for Chicago, as he will pace Mo for 30km before Mo leaves him.

First thing he should do is not wear those ridiculous, wonky $hoes. Actually, it's too late. He just needs to think of a good excuse to dnf and somehow not blame it on the $hoes.

Mo s 1/2 wasn’t that great. If he breaking 59 then I would be impressed.

Do you think it’s because he runs on his forefoot? Is it creating issues with his ankle mobility? All his issues are foot related.

I always thought that is the way to beat Caster Semenya, 800m. Three women box her in while throwing elbows. Ladies have to be willing to tolerate Semenya's fury in locker room post-race.
