The big wild card here, and everyone who has ran competitively knows its true, is Gebrhiwet is vastly improved out of nowhere, even compared to a month ago. That means he has NOT peaked. That he has hardly raced at all only adds to the likelihood that he could go well below 12:45 within the next month if set up properly.
There is no next year! Maybe they'll get injured, maybe they'll burn out. Now or never.
