I had everything except one thing: a CDL. I don't think I could have gotten one while I was attending college for the 4 years, but I have a lot of stuff to do before I find a position that requires this kind of work. I got all the education and relevant knowledge, but it was such a bummer when I realized that a CDL is mandatory.
I think the interviewer knew because my expression and enthusiasm changed. However, I got some interview experience.
I only had a day to prepare because the back and forth was a short notice. Do you think interviewers take that into consideration?
Anyways, I'll be applying to more positions. :(
The commute is at least an hour to get there.
