So she was trying to get to work to be a productive member of society, but apparently the hobby joggers blocking her have no fault? Wow. Just wow.
Fixed for you.
This lady was up against a bunch of self-aggrandizing hobby joggers, the most despised creatures on this board. She should be honored with MBE or something.
Not true. I love hating on hobbyjoggers but when it comes down to it, hobbyjoggers >>>>>>>>>>>>>> fat people.

The right thing to do is a well placed kick to a side panel or perhaps a quick smash to one of her side view mirrors. They come off easily.
If you damage someones car, and then end up having to pay for the damage yourself (which seems likely if you are on camera kicking the car), then you really haven't done anything to harm the person.
Anyway, it isn't like the tubbo was driving around in a Bentley. The most damage he could possibly do is equal to the value of the car, which is presumably only in the mid 5 figures.
There is theory and there is reality. The reality of actually collecting a few hundred in damage from a stranger (on foot and not in a car) is hard. Maybe if there were video (and you could actually get access to the video) and they got your bib number, but that's a lot of "ifs". Also, you can claim self defense or emergency response to get her attention in this situation where she is driving onto a race course in the middle of the race. She has an uphill battle in her situation.

I thought you were a law and order type. Don't you usually advocate shooting people who disobey orders from authority?
Or is there something different about the criminal in this case that changes your opinion?
Yes, I would enforce law and order upon the driver.

Indeed. Or pedestrians. Not funny at all. What you've got here is a sedentary bully protected by a steel cocoon menacing people with a one-ton projectile.
In the mid-80s I was running in the lead pack of a 10k on Long Island when some cretin in a Benz did the same thing: drove around a barricade and onto the course, and then tried to drive through [/I the lead pack. Fortunately we split apart and no one was hurt, and as the idiot slowed down his car took several kicks and punches.
The fear an incident like that generates is akin to facing a loaded gun, and the consequences potentially deadly.
The road belongs to cars! GTFO
This is one of the funniest things ever, how is no one else appreciating the magic of this? Between the accents, the ridiculous British bodies, the “I was driving very slowly!” Phone the workshop! The way she just gunned it around the corner. The guy pushing against the car. Everything about this gave me life.

Nope you are wrong,
Maybe you should read the traffic rules again:

There’s already an active thread on this. Are you new here?
Editor's note: Rojo didn't see the other thread and apologizes. Rookie mistake. The two threads have been merged into 1.
Runners should be running on the side of the street anyway. I run races all the time that have traffic on the roads.
Whether a car should be there or not, the car will always win so it is ALWAYS the runners responsibility to stay safe
makes since. it was only a half-marathon, so she figured it would only take up half (one way) the street
What a dummy. Hope she gets charged and a big ass (pun intended) fine.
Bloody Hell! Marvelous mentality! Does that mean when I'm walking along the pavement, I should be checking all around me, all the time, just in case a car is coming up behind me...on the pavement.
If the road was blocked off and made traffic free, then a runner should NOT have to be concerned about nutters driving along the road

Just trolling while drunk.
Yes, she should be charged.
We have both open (with traffic) and closed (without traffic) races in the UK.
When a road is closed, it is actually closed by law. Therefore, it’s a criminal offence.
She should be put in the village stocks and have cabbages thrown at her head.

Stupid is as stupid does.
https://youtu.be/IAGHdE1lsA0?t=230Seems real dumb of those joggerfolk. Here's a woman with a real reason to use the road, to be protective in society via work, and some leisure-class lumpens are indulging their hobby as a nuisance.
For once, I agree with Utah here. There's good reason to take immediate, violent corrective action against pig lady's vehicle. A bat to one of her doors would be best. And, yes, it would certainly fall under the banner of an attempt to save human life. She is a menace, as are fat asses in general, to the general human welfare.
Overreact much? No one was in any danger. It was like someone else said, almost like a comedy sketch.
