Interestingly, they are just scaling back US sedan sales. I was recently in Europe and was surprised and encouraged by the number of Fords I saw in the UK and Ireland.
I agree. Europeans actually love Fords & consider them to be good cars. Fiesta has been the #1 selling car in the UK for years & the Focus usually falls in 2nd or 3rd. I'm not sure why American's hate Fords so much? There's also a bigger Ford car offered in Europe that's popular. I can't think of the name.
This whole ordeal is sad because we need more emphasis on smaller cars in the U.S. With the focus, Ford offers/offered one of the more sporty cars that could actually compete with the Civic's, Volkswagens, etc. I've always considered Fusions to be nice cars too.
