Crazy if true. How does she go from dropping out of the half marathon championships to this? How did she only have a 31-high 10k time?

She stayed out of the HM for "precautionary reasons", which apparently was a good move. Based on this session alone, she should be in sub-31 shape, which is consistent with her 2:20 marathon PR.

Its snowing hard, today with up to 3 inches expected south of city. Does Nike make galoshes?

That seems like more of a HM workout, but I guess that's how you train for a race without pacers. In any event, I assume the workout was leaked on purpose to psyche people out, and I would be surprised if it has any such effect. I could do that workout, and she would beat me by a mile in a marathon.

Yea, not sure how this kind of workout translate to a marathon. It's a great workout, regardless.
