C'mon get over seas and test yourself.
He is so chicken crap. We get to watch him run another 2:09.
Why is Jordan Hasay not going to do London? She would have a big shot at third place, and running 2:18. This is stupid as hell
I do like the fact that the women’s race is going to be stacked.
hall
Hasay
Huddle
shalane
linden
Ritz will be running, so it’ll be interesting to see what he does.
But Hasay is gazelle who needs to run with other gazelles, why put her in a slow arse race?
Need to take advantage of her form now. We don’t know what the future holds!

Wich are you doing ??
2:09 is the new 2:05.
Rupp is a second tier runner.
Sure, 2 Olympic medals is "second tier"
This news is 100% not surprising and 100% disappointing.

YAWN ... Rupp certainly has earned gold stars in elementary school. ... He never graduated from Oregon.
The news is "disappointing" that virtually every top American is running the top American marathon?
Hold on, Boston has produced a 2:03:02 and 2:03:03 as well as Ryan Hall's 2:04:58

Shhh, you'll ruin their narrative.
Super lame. Not happy at all about this.
If he wins maybe he will run out of excuses to stay in the US.

The women's race looks awesome. Shalane vs huddle vs hasay
Was there ever any question that galen and jordan would run boston? Getting smoked in london is bad for their brand. Everyone thinks mo is a failure in the marathon because he ran one 2:08

Doubt you'll be saying that if he wins.
Umm, scared likely has nothing to do with this...this is his career and as part of a career plan its makes perfect sense. If he somehow manages to win Boston, no matter what the time, I am sure all his efforts over the net few years will go into winning NYC. If he can manage it, winning the three US majors would be really significant.
Also, suspect that London has already promised most of its money to others so likely much more profitable for him to go to Boston. Not many people would take a significant pay cut while in a career that is usually limited to a handful of good/great years. Especially if the other options entail far more risk and smaller rewards. I am sure Rupp realizes he will likely never reach the highest tier of all time greats worldwide in the marathon but that he he still can solidify his spot be in the small number of best ever US greats. Doing Boston creates a smart path for fulfilling this potential.
Maybe it is my age, but to have Boston disrespected by someone on a message board is just too much.
So is Geoffrey Kirui afraid to run a "real" marathon as well?
Id imagine from a $ perspective Boston makes more sense. More appearance money at Boston vs London.
1st at Boston pays more than 5th at London?
In the Major Pro sports free agents go to lesser accomplished teams because they are paid much more $. How is this really different?
