Crazy amazing weeks around here.
Coach, awesome PR run in a long, hot race. I know the fitness was there to go faster, but when you deliver in tough conditions, that is just plain cool.
outsiderunner, way to stay cool in the headwinds and grind it out for that sub 2:50. Can't wait to hear more about the race and what your future plans are after it all soaks in.
Tall dark roast, nice start to a comeback. I played the 10% game all last fall coming back from achilles stuff. It was painfully slow, but I think it was the right thing at the time.
Still Improving, solid workouts this week. Those paces are looking like you're on track for a big PR in May. Curious to see the 10 miler next week. Have you raced one before? Have a previous PR?
jewbacca, huge and consistent week. Thanks for posting those 1k revisits, it's great to see how incremental gains in fitness add up.
Smoove, I've been seeing those elliptical efforts on Strava. Definitely seems like the smart way to go. Hope to see the miles piling back up for you next week.
The Stone Cutter, another amazing week with snow and cold and kids. Then you finish it off with a killer 5k and a 20 miler. That's some big work!
Allen1959, over 40 miles in four days of running. Nice average. Keep it steady and those tempo/15k times will start dropping.
angryjohnny, those Tuesday miles! Holy consistent. Can't imagine doing that. If I get 2 in a row close to one another I'm thrilled. And a big weekend coming. 40 miles in two days. Do you normally do that much the day after a big Q long run? Right now I can't imagine going out tomorrow for a solid trail run.
