I disagree with a few of your comments.
1)" Obviously people are paying that price since they're in business. " That's not necessarily true. They have received millions of dollars in venture capital. Plenty of business lose money hoping to make it big. They just fired their CEO and co-founder Martin Floreani. Why would you do that if all was great.
2) While I hate the service, they are smart to charge a ton. The goal isn't to grow the sport or appeal to the true fans. The goal is to charge a ton as most of their demand is very inelastic. Parents will pay whatever it costs to watch Jonnie run and college coaches - there are lik 10000 college programs - don't care if it's 100 or $200 as they aren't paying for it - their program is.
