- Great stats -- now, how many of those 77 work F/T and/or deploy overseas like REAL soldiers?
- I would imagine more than 1/2 are unsponsored at the near-poverty level.
- Why doesn't WCAP target them in their recruiting like they do the Kenyans with the MAVNI program? A guarantee, A sure-thing, etc. These 77 aren't going to take a chance on the Army allowing them to go WCAP just like the Kenyans unless they have a Godfather in overwatch as they move through boot camp and follow-on training.
- Thanks for reinforcing my point ... well done.
You're grasping.
Nothing is stopping these 77 athletes from joining the Army. I'll direct them to my buddy in Dallas and he can recruit them. At this point the WCAP-Kenyan connection is simply a strong word of mouth. It's the same way you'll have Kenyan relatives all go to the same college over the years.
Not all soldiers deploy. Again you are completely clueless on this topic.
What is the mission of WCAP? Not your made up agenda.

A program that provides outstanding Soldier-athletes the support and training to compete and succeed in national and international competitions leading to Olympic and Paralympic Games, while maintaining a professional military career and promoting the U.S. Army to the world.
PROMOTION, PROMOTION, PROMOTION....you get it yet?
