I totally agree that if anyone can hold a pace with a rabbit, it's OR. Dude, do what you do. You've been dominating your training plan and your so strong right now. Pinning on a number shouldn't slow you down too much!
Can I make a suggestion about the weather? I'll assume you said: By all means!
I don't know you well enough, but I really don't want to see you psyche yourself out over the conditions... When I go into a race or workout where the situation looks less than ideal, be it weather or travel logistics, I frame it all in comparison to how bad it could be rather than how ideal I wish it were gonna be. Mentally, it seems to do something for me. I'm sure you've experience worse conditions than race day is shaping up to be. Use those days as points of reference rather than the unicornical "perfect day for a PR."
