Touhy has won plenty of races they could have used. I don’t think everything is about Valby. But when you choose footage with Valby in it. Hard to not mention Valby. I’m a fan of them both. I would have went with different footage is all.

Also the only real audio (besides meatheads yelling) is the XC announcers saying "Tuohy's got her (Valby) in her sights and she's about to go by" "You have to demoralize her (Valby) ... if you're going to make a pass you've got to go ..."
I'm overall a fan of Tuohy, but this ad is just tacky.
What? It’s literally Tuohy running on a road and cutting to her cross national footage. The other runner in the ad is just them running on the road. So doesn’t matter where she’s running? lol. You pointed out it’s not weird considering it’s Tuohy winning a championship. She could have went with footage from the previous cross nationals where she gutted it out and her team 3 peated. Footage from 2 years ago of her beating someone who’s arguably better now is weird.

What he’s saying is that winning an NCAA XC title is a significant milestone in the career of an American runner. There’s nothing dumb about it. What’s dumb is claiming that’s the dumbest thing ever posted on these boards which have always been overflowing with idiotic comments, and then posting that crappy, irrelevant YouTube link that nobody’s going to click on.
