It looks like Bahta was advanced instead of her. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like she has one of the top 3 non-auto times.

bahta was advanced on protest due to contact with Quigley, and you would be wrong on the timing. Arafi, Houlihan (both heat 3) and Praught-Leer (heat 1) all had faster non-auto times.

Man up, rules are rules bucko.
My only question is why not DQ everyone in the meet? And why would you want to give a visa to the best athletes, world champions, when they are making all their competitors feel bad, by beating them.
I mean. why not study the tapes, perhaps the bib is on incorrectly, how about the tattoos, surely there are violations there, look at their facebook pages and you have to ban a few people just on that, twitter?????
perhaps someone is chewing gum, perhaps they mumble racist slurs under their breath. Are they sure all the guys are really guys, maybe they are transgender. Perhaps their crotch bulge is actually a concealed weapon. Did they do anal probes to see if their is helium gas was up their butts for advantage. Surely more athletes are guilty of some kind of hate crimes.
At least they had the sense to DQ an entire 400 heat, I didn't like the look of those cats either.
OR
IAAF is disqualified. Ban them fot
They no longer exist for I.
And why not you too?
Let's Run should hold a real indoor world indoor championship themselves, complete with rules like, did the "foul" actually mean any thing what so ever to the result?
Where has Kirani James been since Rio? Haven’t seen his name in a long time.
The DQ's make the whole thing a joke for spectators, one reason I won't pay to watch. But they're not the rules' fault, they're the athletes' fault. Quit getting DQ'd you bozos! Y'all are supposed to be pros.
Let's Run should really consider hosting their own world indoor championships

no way. amigo. rules are there for fair play, not to nit pick, nor to make officials feel all powerful.
like brazier said, for some reason the brits are stingy, step on the line and you're out.
what happens in other sports, you step on the line and you're tossed from the game.
fucckk that. get rid of those nonsense self important officials and jackerass rules.
some one said hang the iaaf brass, hard to argue with that idea.

I could be wrong but wasn't Mo pushed by a Kenyan?

DQ anyway, stepped on the line
In tennis on the line is in.
* Why isn't Thiam competing? She makes it look so effortless plus she has that sheepish joy when she succeeds
* I give Rick Allen credit for at least attempting to learn some names of the non-Americans. But it is hilarious when a 60 meter is run and he says nothing for 50 meters. Well, once in a while he'll say, "It's a clean start."
Everything is curling to him
* Best long jump competition in a long time. I'm glad we have a young legit star in both the men's long jump and high jump
* It's never a fully satisfying day when Hellen Obiri isn't out there losing
* Wimbley always runs 390 meters and then starts to labor badly. It doesn't matter if it's indoors or outdoors or where she stands in the race.
* No sympathy for Chelimo. It always strikes me as rather stupid to hug the inner line to such extent that you are inches away or one stumble away from dismissal.
* I think the British officials watch short track speed skating and get jealous at all the disqualifications
* Will Americans ever have a tactical coach? Why is it so dependable that Americans will screw up the strategy, whether it's lingering too deep in the field or somehow not using your speed, a la Brazier? I give Masback credit for occasionally condemning the strategic stupidity, like Brazier today. He also took a rip at Hassan staying back for too long in the 3000.
There was one girl last night who had a handgun tattoo! did you see her? It was either the sprint or the hurdles.
She should definitely GO.
UK is a gun-tattoo free zone.

So basically she thinks that because it's being held in the UK, all the decisions are being made by British people. Also she would like to run on the track while the events are going on, and also she's not happy that it's cold outside and they should have a 'warm up track' nearby to the arena.
Seems fine to me.

rules are there to make sure everyone runs the full distance instead of cheating. Are you suggesting, on this forum of all places, that it's okay to cut the course?
A pro DQ'd for a lane infraction is a disgrace to their coach and sponsor. A serious athlete trains to stay in their lane.
slightly off topic
but the weather here is absolutely crazy. I've never know conditions like this in March. I was at last night's session and in the early afternoon the snow started coming down quite heavily. All trains coming in and out of the nearby main train station got cancelled, so did most of the buses and the roads were becoming increasingly treacherous. Wife and I drove in from about an hour away in normal conditions.
By the time the session was over the weather had worsened. A lot of people were clearly struggling walking round the city centre and looking for places to stay, whether just to shelter for a while or trying to find a room in a hotel. We ended up abandoning our car after getting stuck on a relatively small hill. Fortunately I was able to call a friend who was able to put us up for the night and we walked two miles in the snow to their place.
