Leaders hit 5k in 14:31 (2:02:30 pace), with 21 men coming through in 14:34 or faster.
Either 21 men are going to break the world record or they're going to slow down a bit... -
5km 14:31
Lead pack of 21 within 3 seconds of pacemakers -
yep, 10 seconds under WR pace.
-
8 seconds under WR at 6k.
-
It's amazing how dark it is in on the broadcast. I wonder if it seems that dark to the guys who are running. Remember, they pushed the elite start up by 30 minutes this year -- the sun won't rise until the lead men are past the halfway mark.
-
14:31 at 5k is 2:02:30 pace.
-
16:45 for the women at 5k
-
dubaisports video feed is flawless. It'd be nice to have an English audio feed to go with it.
-
Do the women have male pacers? Looked like when they showed them a while ago.
-
13 seconds under WR pace at 8k
-
6th km-2:57
7th km- 2:54
8th km- 2:54
8km in 23:16 -
Is anyone getting the English stream to work?

Second 5k in 14:36, 10k in 29:07.
Leaders are still under WR pace (2:02:51) but we're down to 17 men in the lead pack. -
29:07 at 10k. Gord Lord, that is fast.
